When I was a punk circa 77 my clothes were a mixture of vivienne westwood,charity shop,and x clothes in Leeds. And sometimes some of my dads old 60s stuff!

So what is it that brings today's youth,back to the 70s and 80s so to speak? They were my eras of being young but the interest in early punk etc is stronger now then ever. Is todays music all washed up? Be interested to know people's views!

The smiths and new order are far better bands then joy division for me that is,and much more deserving of iconic status,but death maketh a good myth!

At the time,and I saw them 4 times joy division were nothing special just another band amongst the sea of great bands around at the time. But over the years the myth has grown around them.
